The personal heartwarming story of Vancouver-based flamenco dancer Rosario Ancer and her seven sisters growing up in Mexico, her dreams of becoming a dancer, her journey to Spain and her arrival to Canada.
I was an invited dancer in this production, joining dancers Rosario Ancer, Nanako Aramaki and Afifa Lahbabi from Vancouver, Myriam Allard from Montreal, Claire Marchand from Winnipeg, Fiona Malena from Calgary, and Marién Luévano Russek and Claudia Villarreal from Mexico, as well as musicians Victor Kolstee from Vancouver, Manuel “el Lito” and Angelita la del Lito from Spain, and Alvaro Rubio from Mexico.
