I am thrilled to announce that I have been named the 2017 recipient of the prestigious Jacqueline Lemieux Prize for dance from the Canada Council for the Arts. I will be in a long-term residency at La Otra Orilla's Studio PLEAMAR in Montreal from mid-May to mid-August 2018, workshopping a new series of performances works, tentatively titled PLACE/Is a city written on this body?

For the month of April 2018, a collection of my short experimental films will be screening in the intimate Nur Box Theatre located on the second floor of Calgary's new cSPACE building (1721 29 Avenue SW).

With the support of a Small Experiments Program grant from Calgary Arts Development, I will be holding a series of intimate showings of creation and research experiments in Calgary on Friday evenings from February 26 to March 23, 2018.

The idea is simple: For 4 weeks, from Monday to Friday, I will be spending time in the studio, focussing on new solo movement and performance research and creation. Every Friday evening, I am inviting a small audience of 5-10 people to share in an intimate showing of the ideas I researched during the week; offering peeks into the vulnerability and introspection that is at the root of my artistic work. All attendees will be asked to participate in an informal discussion before and/or after the showing and to fill out an online survey to provide feedback on their experience.

I will be in a research and creation residency for a new work at Montreal's Studio PLEAMAR from January 15 to 27, 2018.

The exhibit features stories and photographs submitted by Canadians from across the country, providing a glimpse into the vibrant influence of Flamenco culture in Canada. The exhibit runs from September 27, 2008 until November 4, 2008.
